Bees, Butterflies, Dragonflies & Ladybirds!

I recently created some small 21cm x 21cm collages for a new square card range. It all started when I took a photograph of a bee on the lavender outside our front door and thought it would make a wonderful collage.

The bee was then joined by two butterfly collages, a beautiful orange Comma butterfly

and my personal favourite the Peacock butterfly.

Next I added the Ladybird

and finally the Dragonfly

I got a little carried away on the wings with this one!

Hillside Horse Magazine Collage

I spotted this beautiful horse while visiting the Hillside animal sanctuary when we were on holiday at nearby Cromer.  This is an A3 magazine collage, no paint used.

It was a lovely sunny day and the field was full of lovely daisies which I was keen to include.

I decided to use an reclaimed frome for this piece and was so pleased with the match!
